// WHAT WE DO
Comprehensive repair of DC machines
Elektropromremont LLC performs comprehensive repair of DC electric machines of Ukrainian and foreign manufacture, operated in metallurgy, mining, transport, crane facilities, and other industries.
We restore both the electrical and mechanical parts of the machine: armature winding repair and manufacturing, rewinding or manufacturing of main and commutating poles, commutator repair and manufacturing, and restoration of the brush gear, shafts, bearing assemblies, and cooling systems.
A full production cycle lets us carry out repairs at a single facility — from initial fault detection and drawing restoration to dynamic balancing, assembly, and final testing.
Overhaul of the magnetic system// EQUIPMENT NOMENCLATURE
DC machines we repair
Each machine type has its own repair technology and design specifics, which we take into account at every stage of restoration.

Industrial DC electric motors
Repair of main- and auxiliary-drive electric motors for industrial equipment from various manufacturers and designs.

Rolling mill electric motors
Repair of main- and auxiliary-drive machines for rolling mills, roller tables, and other metallurgical equipment.
Crane electric motors
Restoration of DC machines for lifting and travel mechanisms and special load-handling equipment.

Traction electric motors
Overhaul of traction machines for electric transport and special rolling stock, with restoration of the armature, commutator, and pole system.

DC generators
Repair of generators and rotary converters with comprehensive restoration of the electrical and mechanical parts.

Special electric machines
Repair of non-standard and legacy machines, including equipment with missing or incomplete factory technical documentation.
// CAN'T FIND YOUR TYPE?
Send us the machine's nameplate data — we'll define the scope and timeline of repair.
SEND DATA// REPAIR CYCLE
A visual repair cycle — from fault detection to testing
Every stage on the blueprint is a real shop-floor operation: diagnostics, disassembly, winding and commutator restoration, testing.
// REPAIR STAGES

// SCOPE OF WORK
What the repair includes
// SPECIALIZED CAPABILITIES
Specialized capabilities
Manufacturing commutators from drawings or from the actual dimensions of the existing assembly, ensuring the required geometry, insulation, and mechanical strength.
Reproducing the winding geometry and electrical parameters, manufacturing the sections, insulating, forming, and preparing them for laying into the armature slots.
Restoring drawings, winding diagrams, and the core technical parameters of a machine from its actual dimensions — especially relevant for imported and legacy equipment.
Comprehensive restoration of large-size armatures, including winding, commutator, and shaft repair, mechanical assembly work, balancing, and final control.
// FAULTS
Faults we repair
// TESTING & CONTROL
Quality control before, during, and after repair
Checking the condition of the armature winding and pole system insulation before and after repair.
Checking the machine's electrical parameters against technical requirements.
Checking the condition of the commutator, brushes, and their contact pressure.
Checking the mechanical condition of the assemblies and vibration level at operating speed.
Test results are documented in protocols issued in accordance with technical requirements.
