// WHAT WE DO

Comprehensive repair of synchronous electric machines

Elektropromremont LLC performs comprehensive repair of synchronous electric motors and generators operated at power generation, metallurgical, mining, chemical, and other industrial enterprises.

The company carries out a full repair cycle: fault detection, active steel testing, stator and rotor repair, manufacturing of new stator winding sections and pole coils, stator rewinding, rotor rewinding, mechanical restoration of components, rotor balancing, assembly, and comprehensive electrical testing.

Once the repair is complete, every machine undergoes quality control at our own test station, with test protocols issued.

// REPAIR CYCLE

A visual repair cycle for a salient-pole rotor

Every stage on the blueprint is a real shop-floor operation: diagnostics, pole removal, coil rewinding, assembly, testing.

// REPAIR STAGES

Fourteen operations of the factory cycle

Every rotor goes through fourteen sequential operations. It moves to the next stage only after the previous one has been inspected.

// SCOPE & CONTROL

Scope of work, faults, and industries served

A full restoration cycle for synchronous machines at our own facility: from component fault detection to load testing and issuing the test protocol.

Mechanical work, windings, and pole coils all stay within one plant, with no third-party contractors involved.

// SPECIALIZED WORK

Manufacturing of stator winding sections

Manufacturing new stator sections with automated winding, pressing, insulation and geometry control, and vacuum impregnation.

Manufacturing of pole coils

A full cycle of manufacturing and repairing field (excitation) coils.

Repair of salient-pole rotors

Restoration of the mechanical part, insulation, pole fastening, and cooling systems.

Restoration of active steel

Inspection of the core packet condition, repair of damaged areas, interlaminar insulation. Full replacement of the stator and rotor active iron when required.

Restoration of bearing assemblies

Restoration and manufacturing of bearing pedestals, re-lining of sleeve bearings with babbitt, manufacturing of new bearing segments and sealing rings.
